How long may I keep the resource I am ordering?
That depends upon the video. If it is a one-session piece, such as a Bible story video or short lesson, we ask that you mail it back to us the next business day after using it. If it is one tape with four lessons that will be presented over the course of four Sundays, you may keep it for four weeks and mail it back the next business day after you are finished with it. At the time you make your reservation, we will work with you to ensure that you have the resource for an appropriate period of time.
Our meeting was postponed due to a snowstorm. Can I just keep the resource I was going to use for another week?
We realize that unexpected schedule changes are a fact of life. When it happens to you, we ask that you call us to check to see if it is OK to keep a resource longer. It may be that someone else is counting on that resource for THEIR class or meeting, and your keeping it another week will interfere with their plans. In fact, one popular resource being overdue can affect a long string of reservations and a large number of clients.
Don’t you have several copies of each resource?
It is true that we have multiple copies of many of our video and books. This is especially true of resources that are in demand by many churches over a short period of time (Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter). However, if clients return things in a timely manner, we can get by with fewer copies of the resources we already have, and that frees up funds to purchase more new and different resources, to add greater variety to the collection.
How can I get a copy of your catalog?
Our catalog is available on this website by using the "Search Catalog" feature above. We do not produce a printed catalog of IRMS resources in an effort to keep our operating expenses down and in order to keep the catalog as current as possible. We are updating the catalog instantly. By using the website to look for resources, you always have the latest version at your fingertips. As you search the catalog, you can add resources that interest you to a shopping cart, then generate an automated request form when you're ready to check out.
